unqualified "professors" more concerned with dating than teaching. Horrible waste of money. Had a young short mxed professor not that color matters just trying to explain her details she was more concerned with flirting with male students and making her own little click.

Everest University online is the WORST SCHOOL IN THE WORLD!!! They will steal your money from you. When I say steal, thus means that the finacial aid department will package you wrong where you will owe them at your last term and they will keep your money. They did it to me with my BA and my MBA. This is how it goes, you ask them if you max your loans out will you still have enough to cover your tution. They tell you that you have more than enough, so you max your loans to get your check. Here is the killer right here. At your last term, they tell yoy that you do not have enough to cover your last term and you owe them. Wow!!!!. They got me 2 times and saying I owe them $8414.00, yeah...RIGHT!!!! DON NOT GO TO THIS SCHOLL OF THEIFS!!!!!!!

i am currently enrolled looking to transfer to a different school, i was out sick in the hospital for a week and still completed all of the book work..the whole book my labs were done because the teacher only had us of one of each lab.the director of education said my work would be accepted with out an issue and the teacher refused to accept it... so i have no desire to continue my education here and i have only 2 mods left!

Nothing but a joke a scam and have ruin my life...

I went to Everest in Gahanna back in 2008 for Medical Insurance Billing and Coding I graduated with honors, and a GPA of 4.0. I worked my butt off it was a terrible experience I was one of the students who help other students, because the teachers were not qualified and the only thing they were concerned about was food, how they look, and flirting with each other. I basic trained myself I was told that I have a in-house school loan that I have to pay back. Mind you I never heard of such and they were charging me for dorm room, food, and other things that are so not true. I graduated and I later went to another school and graduated with my associates. I went to Everest to try and get my transcripts because the college I'm going to for my BA and Masters need it. Everest told me that if I don't pay them the in-house loan I cannot get my transcript. They want a large amount every month they have made my life a living *** and there's nothing that I can do about it. So a word of advice run because they will still everything from you career wise.

i am highly disappointed with everest institute in dearborn. what a joke the entire school is. The instructors are completely unqualified to teach and career services is an even bigger joke. And the tuition is entirely too high and financial aide likes to threaten student with "no graduating". Financial aide tells you how to answer financial aide questions and the next thing you know you're in debt up to your ***! If I file a lawsuit I would, but I can't because career services has done nothing for me and I am currently unemployed. Thanks Everest, you have wasted my time and money.

As a mother returning to school at 38 you want to go to school and get a career and this is what Everest promised me. I attended in 7/12/2007. The school turned out to be a total disappointment to me. Our class went through 3 different Instructors during a 10 month course in which they did not even meet the qualifications for being a Instructor. Classes were over crowded, not enough supplies for all of the students. X-ray machines broken. Dextor the one they called who you were using to take X-Rays on had all missing or broken teeth. ( I was enrolled for Dental Assistant).They came to me later and told me financial aid did not cover as much as they thought so they announce this in front of my class which I felt was very unprofessional. I then took out a personal loan to make up the difference. I continued on with my schooling a lot of times we were even sitting on the floor waiting for a Instructor to show up. By this time all I wanted to do was finish and get the heck out of there. I was on my externship program when someone from the school contacting me saying I was once again short funds and I needed almost $2,000 more or they would not let me walk across the stage next month. First of all I found my own externship site unlike them. And when I went to find out how I owed this money I contacted the original lender for the personal loan I was approved for and the gentlemen stated that yes I was approved but now at this time they are not taking on new student loans. ( this information can be provided)When I asked why I am not getting my loan that I applied for long before they stopped taking on new loans I was told that yes I was approved however they never submitted the paper work. I was so upset to come this far and then to be threatened I'm not going to walk in less then a month. My father then wrote out a check directly to Everest Institute so I could graduate on time. I graduated with Honors and later went on to find MY first job not Everest. They also falsified papers stating that we had passed Radio graphics when most of us including me never even were able to take a full serious of X-Ray's.My husband and I were later trying to decide to move out of Michigan due to the economy. This is when I found out that 38 out of 50 states require you to be licensed through the state. This is when I found out that Michigan is not one however where we were looking to move did. I then found out that Everest is not accredited through the ADA,MDA,NBDA, or ADAA. I was told they were a accredited school by who I don't know. Even when I later started calling Everest about this there was a large turn over with staff again and I could not believe when I would ask question I would have to be put on hold so they can ask someone. Mind you this person Mrs. Jackson who I was speaking to was the head of the Dental Assisting Dept. Even if I wanted to take the state exams after now having 7 years in the field I can't because I was told I did not come from a accredited school. After placing me on hold and returning to the line she tells me they are accredited through the NBDA. I said to her well that is funny because when I talked to them they said Everest is not accredited through them However, I can still take their test only based on my knowledge I have learned on the job. Nothing to do with Everest. Now if I call I get sent straight to voice mails. I even left a message for the President of Everest at the time in which I received no return call. I finally told them look, you better put me through to someone who could answer my questions or I will be up there in their lobby during registration(which I new this would be the last thing they would want)and I would let everyone be aware of this school first. The reason I kept contacting them was because not only did I have this $12,000 loan but the personal loan as well and they were after me for another loan so by this point I wanted to make sure they did not scam me again and this other loan being the one I was approved for but never received because of my fathers help. Needless to say I am 46 and now attend Schoolcraft College trying to still find my career and trying to pay for it when I already have these loan for a useless education I received. Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

Everest Greenspoint (Houston) IT program is a JOKE! Do NOT waste your time or money!

February 23, 2015 I am a student at Everest Houston Greenspoint enrolled in the Information Technology Program. I first met with the admissions manager on or about the 1-20-15 and again on 1-27-15 when I decided to enroll. I choose Everest because I was led to believe it was well run, with an easy to understand but challenging IT program taught by a highly educated professor with a reputation for being a good instructor. I was led to believe that I would be enrolling in a program that would get me ready to enter the workforce with the right knowledge and certifications that employers are looking for. I began a day late on the 28th of February 2015. I did not receive orientation. I did received a syllabus, reading material, a backpack, IT tool kit and shirts. I also did not receive my computer until February 2nd or my external hard drive (WD My Passport) until the 5th. Since the beginning of school to the present date 2-23-15 many red flags have gone up. 1)There was only one instructor for two classes happening simultaneously; which forced both classes to share part of our 4 hrs 2)The class was not geared towards beginners, as my admissions manager had said. She said "The instructor shows you everything from how to turn on the computer all the way up" My first and only class was over Linux and Mac (two separate operating systems) 3)The internet speed is inadequate to conduct classes that rely on computers to produce work and learn. I have 11 speed tests done over 6 days at various times to prove this. 4)There were no lectures or step by step demonstration done by the instructor; with exception of 2 YouTube videos. 5)The syllabus was not followed. There was a test given before it appeared on the syllabus and out of the 4 weeks I attended we only got through week 1 of the syllabus. 6)The work that was done was not able to be turned in. The instructor would not accept it until he finished his portal; which wasn't ready until 2-16-15 and to date has not been graded. This allows no way for students know if what we had completed and studied to be correct or not. 7)February 20th there was nothing for students who were done with their work to do since there were no Week 2 handouts or labs given to us but there was a due date for the work of February 23rd at 11:59pm. (We did not receive them that day or over the weekend) 8)February 23rd I arrived at school to find out from 3 of my classmates that the Professor would not be coming back to class. He had called or texted those students to deliver the news. We sat without an instructor the entire day. As of today, February 24th, I have withdrawn from this school. I have asked to not be billed beyond materials used and 10 days of instruction time. The Director of Education and the Finance Department informed me that only the Campus President could make adjustments to the billing and he declined to meet with me. This situation, as everything thus far, has been handled poorly. It is my experience that the statements made by admissions are misleading and all together incorrect. The Instructors are spread too thin and lack the organization necessary to effectively lead a classroom. The school is not set up to properly to run high speed internet to support an Information Technology program and the campus President shifts blame on what has transpired to the students instead of taking responsibility and agreeing to meet with students who have been so profoundly affected. I only hope that this and the other reviews I have posted save future students of being robbed of their time and money by an institute that is not qualified to run an IT program.

UPDATE: So it has been about a month since I posted the review and have never received any follow up with the school and nothing was resolved to my satisfaction. There is still no teacher and I ended up having to pay the full tuition for the one class I sort of took.

It is now the year 2015 of June 13th day. I started with Everest University since April of this year. Timely fashion about this University is so great I am impressed for an online college to handle time in this manner. My first refund came in on time and grades were posted on time what more can one ask for. I recommend this University to everyone I try to talk into going back to school. Choose Everest University Online. If you peeps just put your studies to work you will know that Everest University is the place to be. So If I were all that down grades their administration think again if it werent for the administration you wouldnt have a class to attend KUDOS to Everest University. Guys please read your documents carefully before signing. Guess what Im only an Undergraduate. Everest is a great online learning University.

My opinion of this school is that they are a waste of time and money. I wish I would have made a better choice.

I went to Everest located near kendall in Miami and when the course was over they tried to find me a job that nothing to do with medical coding and billing. On top of that they had an instructor that was very unprofessional with the students and with her co workers. I stated to her that I deserved an a for my class and she told me that I should be more worried about my class then going out on the boat with my boyfriend. She also stated that if I told anyone anything about her she would have to change the dates missed for the other students. I did graduate with honors but it was not by her doing. She also spent her time talking about her ex-husband being bipolar which had nothing to do with our course.

I went to Everest as soon as I was done wit high school and they told me all these great things they can do for me to get in my career but iv been out of Everest now for year and couple of months and I haven't gotten a job in my field and they weren't much of help while I was in school, the teachers really didn't pay attention to your work I'm paying them 17,000 $ for them just to sit on there butt. This school is a total rip off they have been just wasting my time , money and gas !

Called one day to inquire about MIBC program. The woman I talked to "MISTY KELLY"(Gahanna Ohio location) was beyond nice explaining how she understood how a mom of two wanted to change her life and lives of her kids.(great sales pitch by the way) I eventually enrolled. As time went on it was clear that this school was a joke. They have instructors who don't seem to care about anything but a paycheck. They went on and on about HIPAA but when placed in a externship site that violated what seemed to be all of them, they didn't seem to care. I complained about it to career services (who are an even bigger joke), they said "oh well, thats how the world is" They maybe call one job posting/send your resume. But other than that, you're on your own for job placement. All in all, don't waste your time or money on this school.

Mark right answers wrong and then have the nerve to get pissed when you want it correctes. Signed away 18,000$ to sit in a class of cheaters that they did nothing about. Student services is an even bigger joke.

Never call you back, never find you a job and take away interviews cos they feel ur not dressed properly. *** that school!

In July I was contacted and advised due to my delayed entry, I had to sign a new enrollment agreement as my Enrollment person was no longer with the company, I did. Mid way through my courses it was brought to my attention that I owed money. I was told tuition increased after I enrolled and that is what was being told to me in July. I fought it, they agreed the end of it. Took my CCS test, passed, and walked at graduation. Now Im being told unless I pay the extra over 2k, I will not get a diploma and in turn am being denied proof of my credentials. I graduated as a disabled individual with a 3.71 GPA. The only reason it is not a 4.0 is I was experiencing a very dangerous MS flare up in the March/April 2014 mods and slipped. They are refusing me my diploma and attempting to extort money!

I completed my course at Everest College for Medical Billing and Coding in April of 2014. As of today I still have not received any word as to when we will take the Certification test. I was told that they would schedule times and dates for the class to come back and take the test. Still nothing, and since then the school has lost the President, the Dean, the Lead person in the career office and several other staff members. No one knows or have an answers about if we ever will be able to take the test. Many of the medical offices will not accept you because the information that was taught by Everest College is not used in the doctor's office or we do not have enough experience. Now I see that Everest is under an investigation by the federal government, which by the way is a loan that I have to pay back and I have nothing to show for it.

I'm in a similar situation myself. It' been two years since I graduated or rather it will be come this September.

Career services at my school has done little to nothing to help me find a job and I myself think I figured out why my application attempts come up nothing.

I read the requirements for one of my jobs and it lists credentials that Everest don't have.

I enrolled at the Gahanna Ohio campus 03/13 to start classes 08/14.All my documents were signed, financial aid approved.

I'm owning the school over 2,000 because supposedly my paperwork wasn't submitted in time and they claim they didn't recieve their money. But I got emails stating all the money was dispersed. They tried to hold my diploma and transcripts till I made payment arrangements
